| Admission Qualifications : |
The minimum qualification for admission to a diploma course in
an affilated institution shall be as prescribed by the Government of
Rajasthan from time to time.

| Duration of Course : |
For General
Courses : The duration of diploma course shall be 3 years
(six semester) .The course of study during a semester shall consist
of such compulsory and elective subjects are prescribed by the Board
in the Teaching and Examination schemes from time to time
.
For Sandwitch
Courses : The duration of diploma course shall be 3.5 years
means three and a half year (seven semesters).The course of study
during a semester shall consist of such compulsory subjects and
industrial training as prescribed by Board in Teaching and
Examination Scheme from time to time .

| Enrolment : |
No student shall be admitted to any examination of
the Board unless he/she has been enrolled with the Board . A student
during his enrolment with the board can not enroll himself with any
other Board/University .If any such case is reported, the enrolment
of the student with the Board will be cancelled and he/she will not
be allowed to appear in any of the examinations conducted by the
Board .

| Examination Scheme : |
The valuation of the students shall be done by the
Board or by the affilated institution on the behalf of the Board as
per teachings and Examination scheme. Theory and practical
Examination will be conducted by the Board at the end of each
semester in accordance with the prescribed Teachings and Examination
scheme at such centers and on such dates may be notified by the
Board . Theory Examination
: These shall be conducted by the Board at the end of each
semester in the subjects listed under "TH" in the teaching and
examination scheme .
Practical
Examination : These shall be conducted by the Board at the
end of each semester in the subjects listed under"PR".The mode of
such examination will be as per the Teaching and Examination scheme.
Sessional Assessment :
This will be done by the affilated institution on behalf of the
Board on the basis of day to day work consisting of --
Class
test -- Two class tests will be conducted by the institution
for each subject during the course "CT" in teaching and
examination scheme
.
Tutorials -- Regular Tutorial work done during the course
of study listed under "TU"in teachings and examination scheme
.
Practical work -- Regular practical work done during the
course of study listed under "PR(S)"in the teaching and
examination
scheme.
Practical / Industrial Training Assessment -- On completion
of training the assessment will be done by a committee constituted
by the institution as per directives of the
Board.
Project Assessment -- Students have to complete a project
after VI semester examination as per Teachings and Examination
scheme .The Assessment of project will be done as per directives
of the Board .

| Eligibility for examination : |
For
eligibility to appear in the examination a student must have
attended at least 75% of the total periods of the lecture
(L),tutorials(T) and practical (P).ie (P+T+L)delivered / conducted
in each subjects during the semester
A student
who does not fulfill the prescribed conditions as mentioned in above
shall not be appeared in the examinations.The detention order shall
be issued by the Head of the institution on behalf of the Board
.
A student
who is not eligible to appear in the examination from above
conditions shall repeat the course of study as a regular
student.
CHECK POINT
:
A
student has to pass all the subject of the first year (I and
II semester)in the three academic years from the year of the
enrolment failing which his /her enrolment with the Board will
automatically cancelled
.
A
student has to pass the Diploma course by the end of the six
academic years from the year of enrolment failing which his/her
enrolment with the board will automatically be cancelled
.
Time
limit to pass all subjects of Diploma courses will not be extended
for any punishment by the institution and or for the punishment
awarded by the board for the use of the unfair means in the
examination.
